The Firearms Research Center welcomes historian, historic arms expert and Antiques Roadshow appraiser Joel Bohy for Virtual Seminar No. 19, this Friday, July 17, at 12 P.M (Mountain timezone or 2 P.M. Eastern).
Using forensic analysis of surviving bullet strikes and battlefield artifacts, Bohy examines the opening day of the American Revolution, revealing new insights into the fighting at Lexington, Concord, and along the British retreat to Boston. By combining archaeology, ballistics, and historical research, this presentation demonstrates how physical evidence continues to reshape our understanding of April 19, 1775.
Joel Bohy is the owner of J. Bohy Historical Consulting, Historic Arms Specialist at Blackstone Valley Auctions, a frequent appraiser on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow, and co-author of Bullet Strikes from the First Day of the American Revolution.
